We value your participation in the AUA’s Annual Meeting and thank you for the work that you have done thus far to contribute to our Scientific Program.
Like you, AUA leaders and staff have been actively monitoring developments with regard to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). You may have heard reports of cases of COVID-19 in the state of Washington on the western U.S. coast, but at present, there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in our nation's capital, Washington, DC. The DC Department of Health has not issued any local restrictions on public gatherings or travel. Registration for the Annual Meeting remains steady and we want to assure you the AUA is taking all necessary precautions to ensure the health, safety and security of our attendees, guests and exhibitors in light of concerns about COVID-19.
We are watching the situation closely, and are working diligently with our meeting venue, participating hotels and local health authorities in Washington, DC to ensure that we are abreast of the latest guidance and information.
We invite speakers to monitor the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization websites for additional information and updates, particularly related to travel to and from the United States.
We will continue to update speakers with new information as it becomes available. If you have any questions about the Annual Meeting or your presentation, please contact the AUA Annual Meeting team at speakers@AUAnet.org.
